Born and raised in North London, Jelluzz first hit the music scene with the release of underground smashes Happy Mealz and Deeper in 2007 which exploded onto the UK scene with a big bang resulting in rave reviews in Young Voices magazine as ‘the artist to watch for 2007’. His videos were regularly being played on Channel AKA and MTV Base, placing Jelluzz as a serious artist, as opposed to just another MC, to pay close attention to. Jelluzz, who finished off 2007 on a high note by featuring on the official remix for Jay Sean’s hit single ‘Ride It’.

Jelluzz came back with his smash anthem ‘Hold On’, which resulted in Puma using the song as part of their global marketing campaign for their ‘Urban Motion’ fragrance. Winter 2010 saw Jelluzz then released It’s My City featuring Ricky Blaze which took Jelluzz a step closer to the mainstream went from receiving airtime on Channel AKA to being playlisted on The Box and Kiss.

To mark the launch of Jelluzz.com, Jelluzz has locked himself in the studio making The Green Eyed Monster mixtape, a project originally aimed at the underground to turning into a family affair of hot collaborations, hard hitting truths and extremely catchy choruses that will leave you singing along to things you shouldn’t. Jelluzz has also launched Capital J clothing, already a line of clothing that has sold out on the pre-orders! 2010 will see Jelluzz all over your screens, iPods and your wardrobes.
